Eligibility Requirements:

1. Complete 10+2 (or equivalent) with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English. Minimum 50% in PCB (or 40% for reserved categories). 

2. Be at least 17 years old by December 31 of the admission year.

3. Qualify in NEET-UG (Indian National Eligibility Entrance Test). This is mandatory if you want your MBBS degree to be recognized in India. 

 

When to Apply:

1. Application windows typically open around March–June depending on the university. 

2. The academic session usually starts in September. 

 

Documents Required:

1. 10th & 12th mark sheets and passing certificates.

2. NEET scorecard.

3. Valid passport (with sufficient validity).

4. Recent passport-size photographs.

5. Admission application form of the university.

6. Medical fitness certificate.

7. Police clearance certificate (if required by the university).

Application & Admission Steps:

​

1. Shortlist universities: Choose from NMC-approved and WDOMS-listed medical universities in China.

2. Submit application: Apply directly through the university portal or via an authorized representative. Upload all required academic and identification documents.

3. Receive Admission Letter: Once verified, the university issues an official Offer of Admission.

4. Get JW202 Form (Visa Invitation): The university arranges a JW202 Form — the official visa invitation letter required for your student visa.

5. Apply for Student Visa (X1/X2): Submit your visa application at the Chinese Embassy or Consulate in India along with the admission letter, JW202 form, passport, and medical reports.

6. Pre-departure Preparation: Arrange travel, accommodation, health insurance, and currency exchange. Confirm your seat and pay the initial university fee.

7. Arrival & Registration: Upon reaching China, complete university registration, residence permit procedures, medical checks, and orientation before classes begin.
